There is always an essence of excitement when I go to scratch a Tattslotto scratchie.
I guess it's the excitement of finding out what lies beneath it, like it's so close to the surface yet you can't see it yet. It's similar to how I feel about the energy that lies within us. It's there beneath the surface some lies deeper but it's there waiting to be tapped into, to let run free. See we can't control everything in our lives and nor should we try to. I love allowing things to unfold organically and to be truthful it's not my style to be so structured and always in routine. But I definitely see a place for routines and structure, and with 4 kids in tow and a business I call on these routines to get me through my day. I'm working on cultivating space each day to allow something new to come into my life. Whether this is taking the kids to the splash park in between my classes, or a nature walk, I'm finding it's what allows me to make each day exciting and somewhat different from the day before. It helps to refill my cup. Because the bigger picture is that we are here to find joy, happiness and experience all there is to experience. On weekends I make no plans and just love following where my heart leads us on the day. We may end up at the Wesley hill market followed by a swim at golden point reserve. It's great to show the kids that anything and everything is possible. There is no limitations, live your life and live it big.
As you see life is about letting there be surprises, feeling all there is to feel and being at peace with this. We may not know what's around the corner but isn't that exciting because if we are already apprehensive even anxious of what lies ahead then we can't be living in the now and experiencing all there is to experience. We end up living in past regrets or future apprehension. In the present moment there is no anxiety or depression it doesn't exist, as these feelings only arise when we step back into the past or jump into the future. Practice
living in the now to set your mind free and to be free. Practice mindfulness every day of your life. Even if it's for a minute. It's definitely worth it.
